Hey all,
Just came across this group and I must say I'm impressed with what I've seen and read in a short time. Lets see, I have a smoking Tex electric smoker for the past 4 years. Prior to the smoking Tex I had a home made smoker made of plywood and a hot plate element (used strictly to smoke fish) I became addicted to Good BBQ and smoked meats while in graduate school in TN (Cookeville for you TN people). I mainly smoke fish, shoulders and brisket with a turkey or two each year. Would consider my skill level an experienced novice. I have failed several times with pork ribs, they never get tender?? Looking forward to hanging out here
