adjusting thermometer after calibrating?

Discussion in 'Meat Thermometers' started by cripplecreek, Sep 7, 2010.

  1. After calibrating meat thermometers do u simply make a mental note to add/subtract when actually smoking with the thermometer?  Do some thermometers allow you to adjust them after calibration.  (i use the maverick et-7 and et-73)

Just in case you need the manual

    http://www.maverickhousewares.com/manuals/ET73.pdf

I started a file for all the manuals - when I first buy a product I download the PDF and stick it in the folder and never have to search for the dang paper one again

Your idea of putting product manuals in a folder sounds like a possible Wiki... hint. Good organizational skills. It's all good my friend.
