Hi man name is Rob and i got a new smoker last week for an earlier Christmas present from the wife.  I smoke some ribs over the weekend and they didn't get quite done correctly.  My buddy told me the smoke for 3 hours at 250 at they would come out perfectly!  fall off the bone even!  Well, after they came off not cooked thoroughly and I had to finish them in the oven, i started doing research online and found this forum.  Tons of great information!  For a while i'll be soaking upp all the inforamtion and recipes, but hopefully i'll eb able to contribute myself on the forum with some best practices!

Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

Hello Rob and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
