Adam would not have shared this rib

  1. Even Abam would not have shared this rib with Eve.....Well maybe a taste. Smoked up some 3,2,1 ribs. Wanted to do a smoke before this weeks turkey so I laid some baby backs down.
    Rubbed and wrapped over night.

    Fired the old girl up at 10:30 and brought to 230 degrees.
    Put in the ribs and let them go for 3 hours.
    Next I mixed up my own bbq sauce. There is a old German restaurant in town that serves this on their ribs and we like it to for a change of pace. It is really easy, 1 cup ketchup, 1 cup miracle whip, 2 TBL hot sauce, squirt of lemon juice and red pepper to taste.
    Time to bring in the ribs squirt on some apple juice and wrap up and put back in the smoker for 2 more hours.
    After the two hours of being wrapped they were brought in and lathered with the sauce and put back in smoke for another hour. I used apple and alder wood for smoking. I think it complements this sauce really well.
    The final outcome, great! Fall off the bone tender. The wife said maybe we should make
    ribs for Thanksgiving...not this time. We'll be serving a smoked turkey like usual.

    He may not have shared, but I'd have arm wrestled him for one!  Looks good.
