Access door on WSM

WSM delivered on thursday. Got a good deal from grills direct. 399.00 free shipping and free cover. My 1st ? Is the door supposed to look like this. Seems bent to me which i'll  fix myself. Just don't seem right. 2nd? can you grill on these? Seems like you can on what I read on virtual weber, but wasn't real clear to me. Thanks, Dave

I would call it bent. The more air leaks you can fix the better control you will have.

Good to hear Dave, that would have been hell on you for temps.   Worst case if you have leaks then try trimming and  adhering some stove rope gasket around the door....foil tape (red neck) fix.
