I've been a subscriber to Jeff's newsletter for at least 5 years. Always loved his style and instructions.

I've been thru several smokers, mostly side box, while doing some bbq catering. Recently ran across a UDS build on YouTube and got interested in building my own. So I thought I'd go ahead and join SMF to find advice. I'm not afraid to experiment and I've modified several of my own smokers so I figured it was time to do a ground up build.

Even tho I have lived in the Chattanooga/NW Ga. area for over forty years, I'll never be anything but a Texan. Those of you from Texas will understand. Those not from Texas, well, [emoji]128526[/emoji]

Welcome to the forum.

Glad to have you with us.

Looking forward to seeing your build.

You should start a thread on it, when you start.

Welcome from SC. It's good to have you here. Keep coming this way and you will get to real BBQ country, where it all started. Around here, we know that BBQ is a noun, not a verb. We eat pigs and milk cows.

Good to have you here. There is always lots of fun. Joe
