So I got a huge score. I ordered one of the AMNPS for my smoker, Shipped to Canada it was on the expensive side. I happened to be in a small town earlier and ran into a local Peavy Mart store. I needed some extra sand paper for my grinder plates and some odds and ends. They had a clearance table set up so out of curiosity I took a look. Low and behold the had some product from A-MAZE-N there marked down to half price. So i picked up an extra tray and 12 " tube for the smokehouse and my brother in-law who just started out with an MES. On my way to the check out the store speaker came to life " Anything in the clearance area is now 50% off the red price tag." I looked at the tags on what I picked up and they were red tags. So I picked up everything they had. I have a few happy friends now. Got it all for just under a $100.    That was a steal I'm thinking.

SO now the brother in-law is doing the mail box mode thx. to the great people on this forum and I have all I need for the smoke house, as well as a couple happy buddies that are into smoking.....

WOW... GREAT score... better watch for flashing lights out front of the house (ya thief) ... Wonder why they put such great items on clearance like that ...

I agree,  a small town where people did not know they had them or their value. Kind of Ironic I think as they just opened up a a BBQ/Smoke pit restaurant in town....  Oh well I am a happy camper....

I gave him the link and info, i suspect he will, This is all new to him and he is eager. Also on holidays so I haven't talked to him lately. Thx

Bought my AMNPS back in August. Found a local source for Mesquite pellets, judging from the bag size they are meant for a pellet grill. Pellets are about 1" and I filled my AMPS full. Smoked a turkey from 38F to 165F breast temp. Took nearly 8 hours. AMNPS was burnt down to the turn to the last row. This type of pellet gave off lots of smoke the entire time. Done a brisket and two pork butts using only two rows. Have to say with my MES 40 the AMNPS is a must have!
