A little late to the "party" but thought I'd share anyway.

    Hey all, just wanted to share with you all my 1st prime rib. I am late posting this, but I smoked this one on Christmas. I feel like I had success. Everything went as planned. How do you all think I did?

    "man that was good" Finch

     

    Dry brined with salt and pepper only. Garlic cloves inserted into a few places.


    On the smoker and ready to go. Louisiana L-1000 


    Almost done. Note: only had small flare up when I opened the lid.


    Pulled and carved

    135° IT then rested for about 20 min.
