A Homesteader Wannabee from AL

Hello! Although I was born and raised in NY state (NOT city...Im ALL country), I moved to AL almost 3 years ago, and Ive decided Im never leaving! I love it here. I guess I will say my interests are in homesteading and sustainability. I want to learn to do everything I can for myself right from home! Right now I am pretty focused on food preservation and gardening. My other half is a hunter, so this site is heaven sent! It is one of the best and most down to earth Ive found as of yet! Thanks for that!

I have a couple of blogs I share what I learn in. One is for food and recipes, the other is newer for homesteading. These subjects are my loves <3

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
