I wanted to try these garlic and chipotle cubes injected into the pork to see what they tasted like....

I disolved one cube each into 3 cups of beef broth, then injected the pork...

Finally had the chance to try out some dry rub Beer-B-Q sent for me to try out... It tasted sweet and hot.... I like it!!

I smoked the hunka pork in my drum for about 10 hours.....

Smoked my meatballs at the same time. :)

The rub made a nice bark.... it was definately sweet and spicy...

The inside was moist and tender. I could taste the garlic, and will use the cubes again. I probably could have used 2 chipotle cubes. It was hard to tell if the spice was coming from the injection or the spicy rub.
I liked it though. :)

Thank you again for the dry rub Paul and
Thanks for lookin'. :)

Hiya Jeanie, I don't think those Knorr cubes are out yet in my part of the country. A lady on a cooking board I joined told us about them several months ago and though I've looked in about 5 different major stores, I can't find them. What section of the store do you find them in? I've been looking in with the soup bases and bouillons.

That sure is some good lookin' meat!

Thank you Uberhack. I didn't mop at all. Just let it smoke for 10 or so hours in my drum. It came out nice, I liked the bark. :)

Hi John, Good to see ya. :)
The cubes were in the soup section of my grocery store. They added a lot of flavor, I plan on using them again.
Thanks!

That looks great, love the last pick of it partially shredded, you can just make out the drool worthy moist tenderness and beautiful ring.

Noticed you had a box of the Knorr's chipotle cubes, I have been itching to try them for a long time, are you able to get your hands on them easily and so, would you be interested in some sort of exchange?

Jeanie, you are a master!...... If I had a connection with food network, or some other like that.... I would direct them straight to you. Bravo Sister, as usual!

Yes another great dish in the land of Jeanie for sure. You did a fabolous job and you say that the flavor of the gralic came out but the chipotle did n't hummm go figure you would think that chipotle was stronger spice too. You are really a Godess of great food. I wish you would get a show on the food network.

I still need to try the other goodies.

Thank you mballi! The pork had spice to it, I just couldn't tell if it was from the chipotle cubes or the spicy dry rub. I will try them both again soon though....tasted great!
