I recently joined this forum since I want to build a small reverse flow smoker, (about a 20 gallon size), and I have seen how a reverse flow works, and I was just thinking why not drill a few small holes in the plate that guides the smoke to the other end and helps provide even heat over the length of the smoker so some goes up through the holes and the rest goes to the far end and back over the meat? like I said, I am new.
