Me and the fam have been canning all afternoon. So i figure i better post up some pics. sorry none of the process but here are the finished ones.

some of the stuff here are bottom left pepper jelly, bottom center green salsa, on the right zucchini semi-sweet pickles, top center green spicy pickled tomatoes (not tamatillos), top left spicy dill pickles

thanks guys...it is a blast. and man can't wait to eat some of this stuff. I got a book about canning with 400 different recipes yesterday and I just had to try some out...it is like the ryteks book for sausage making...it has every recipe you can think of. the name is complete book of home preserving. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a book on canning food.

is it the one by the BALL company? i just got this book a week or so ago and haven't been able to put it down!

looking forward to trying a lot of the stuff in it.
 
great minds think alike again ...that is the one...wish i would of had this book back when I was planning my garden....next year I will be dangerous...lol
