I purchased Jeff's rub and sauce recipe back in November of 2013. Since then I've tried it on Pork, chicken, beef and fish. It is really the most versatile recipe I've ever seen.
I'm not the kind of person who cooks/grills/smokes on a small scale. When I cook I may only be intending to feed 3-4 people, but then I will call the neighbors and friends and we end up feeding 15 people. Usually it is so good, that there isn't any leftovers. I took this as a sign that I just wasn't cooking enough to begin with. This past weekend I smoked a 12 lbs. Boston Butt (see the results in my Brined Boston Butt thread) and a couple sides. This was intended for just me, my wife and my parents. We ended up over at my neighbors house to watch the game and we fed another 7-8 people. Amazingly we still had some leftover pork, so I took it into work. When I broke out my lunch and heated it up my coworkers descended upon me begging for a "pinch" "little nibble" "belly full" or whatever else I would share with them. I fixed my plate and let them have the rest. Since then, I've been bombard with "Dude, that was amazing!" or "You've got to give me that recipe". I had to tell them all that it wasn't my recipe to give out, but I did direct them to the Smoking-Meat.com website so they could get it for themselves. I don't know if anyone will purchase it or not, but it seemed like the right thing to do.
Basically, I really just wanted to let Jeff know that his recipes my given my cooking/grilling/smoking a huge boost and I am now a BBQ Legend around my office.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SHARING!
