A Big Hello From Louisiana

Hows it going guys! My name is Trevor and i am from Baton rouge,Louisiana. I bought a 1hp LEM grinder and a sausage making book by Rytek Kutas about a year and a half ago and have been grinding, stuffing and smoking everything i can get my hands on since! It took me a year but i just finished up a homemade water stuffer and have recently started making much bigger batches of sausage. I own a decent sized propane smoker but have been tossing around the idea of building a smokehouse so i can do batches of a hundred pounds or more at a time. Ill prolly have tons of questions and i don't understand all the lingo y'all use yet so bare with me please. Thanks in advance and Im glad to be a member of such a great site!

First off welcome to SMF there Trevor. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
