6 butts, 53 lbs. getting the rub down tonight.

Well, wife picked up the pork butts from the butcher last night. 6 butts, 53 lbs. total weight, 2 per pack, $1.49 lb. not bad. I buy a lot of butts from this guy and sometimes get it for $1.19 lb. but anyway. This smoke is for my daughters Sweet 16 birthday bash at her request so how could i say no. Sat will be a busy day. Have to smoke the pork, take daughter for drivers licence, of course, and get the Moose club hall ready, and help the DJ get set up. Party starts at 6pm. WOW, good thing everything is close by. And before ya say it, I'll get pics. lol

Wow that is going to be a fun but tiring day. Just make sure you don't do what my dad did when he took me to get my lic.  He made an illegal U turn and while I was in signing the paperwork so was he

Just be PATIENT Cookinhogz. Don't let the stall trick you not bumping up the heat to finish them ; my secret is to leave the Smoker Lid Shut...until done to temp.
