I always try to buy mine on one of the summer holidays

Lowes and Home Depot usually sells the two pack of 20#'s for $9.99

Buy a lot smoke all year round

I've got about 280lbs of kingsford, 2 bags of royal oak, 34lbs Stubbs lump from Costco, about dozen bags of wood chips from tsc 2 for $5, half dozen bags of chunks from tsc.
I'm good for the year, I hope lol

I go through about 30 lbs of charcoal a month on average. I have 340 lbs of KBB in the garage and am down to one 17.8 lb bag of RO.  I'll pick up more lump when I'm out.   Lazarri mesquite lump has been my go-to for hot n' fast smokes but I'm hearing stories of folks finding carbonized rotten wood in their bags.   RO is more expensive, and now we know the reason why.
