I am in the process of my first build and was a little late looking at the calculator for my build. I know my firebox is too small and I plan to correct that in the future and I am continuing with the rest of the build. Reading the calculator threads gives me a headache I am glad there are people out there who like that stuff cause it's not for me. My question is for a 10ft by 37 inch diameter tank how high off the bottom should the RF plate be and how big should the opening be at the far end of the tank? Secondly when I try to figure out the stack length and diameter as I add a larger diameter stack the length gets longer? I must be doing the math wrong? My issue with this is my smoker will be in a enclosed room and I want the stack to exit either out the top in a chimney or I can take it out the wall but I am not sure how much the added length will effect air flow? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
