Thought I would share this - our raspberries always pop right at the 4th.

Also smok'en up some ribs and trying Dutch's Wicked beans for the first time.

Getting ready to pull these bad boys and head to the lake.

Hope everyone has a great 4th.

Walle.. you should send those to:

Bbally berry testing laboratory in Clifton Colorado!

We supply an excellent report on how they tasted, nutrition values, and most of all how much we enjoyed them.  Plus tips on whether you should grow them next year are participate in other tests.

That's a fine looking back yard you've got. You grow your own raspberries? Love the crop turnout. Bet those will make some tasty cobbler!

I made Dutch's Wicked Beans last weekend and I will attest that they were fantastic.  My Dad's wife raved about them for three days.  You won't be disappointed.

i keep wicked beans in the freezer. when i get down to 2 qt bags it's tme to make more.

3 gallons at a time.

Tracey,

I love Raspberries!!!

All I have here is wild Black Raspberries. They're great, but I only get a little bowl per year.

Now the Wine Berries (also wild) are ripening. I love them too, and I get a lot more of them (a little more tart).

Your Blacks look tasty---So do your ribs!!

Heay BC - thanks man.

That's a nice crop.  We've had enough rain that the local berry growers are still waiting and sweating the mold.  Now we've got the vinegar fly to worry about.  Do you know what a CARE package is?
CARE WHAT??  I went through a tunnel and didn't catcha that last part, Dave!

Sumo - yep that is a shot of the East side of my yard where the garden, raspberries, grapes and stawberries live.

Thanks everyone!
