4 butts 2 ways....

    took advantage of a sale and picked up some butts....all this for $22.00!

    2 with 1/2 pappy's 1/2 my no sugar rub.....

    2 with an achiote marinade for a mexican lasagna.....

    ribs were on sale too.............

    all in the smoker with apple and cherry.......

    chow time!!!!!!!

    i liked them both for different reasons. the dry rub was intended for PP and to eat by it's self so it needed to have a distinct bold flavor. the achiote needed to be a little milder in flavor and carry the smokiness, which it did....and was great in simple tacos as well.

    That sure was a fuul smoker and a great deal you got too. I like those dino bones you got there and it's nice to see some not all hacked up or I think they call it trimmed. I sure hope you have a boat load of friends coming over for dinner cause you sure have a pile of food. Great job[​IMG]
