So I have been on this forum for about a week or two now and have done a bit of research on here. I have attempted pulled pork 2 times this year and after research on here found where I was making my mistake.

Before I smoked picnics and they would turn out a little dry and didn't pull because I was taking them out at 185 IT. This time I bought a 9lb Boston butt and pulled it at 200 IT, and it pulled amazingly. Was very moist and very delicious.

So stoked I found this forum and joined. Thank you all for the information and techniques you have shared. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

This place makes it seem like you know what you're doing and that you're a pro, with the amount of knowledge that's passed around. Glad you fixed your problem and it turned out.

Looks great! Glad you got it sorted out. To me butts are the way to go for PP. Just the picnic is a bit more hammy and chewy. Now getting the whole shoulder where you get both and combine them makes for good eatin' too!

Thank you guys. For sure, every bit of information I got on here made me feel more confident this go around.
