Currently using my Oblong Charcoal Grill, until I can get my smoker. Placing meat on one side and coal on other side. My first try was a briskett and this was 100% sucessful, tender with great flavor. Second up was a Rib Roast for Christmas Dinner, another 100% sucess. Third was a small goat hindquarter, fail fail fail, was very tough not good. Four try was this weekend smoked two whole chickens, wow what a win. So really looking forward to getting my smoker but currently I'm making it work and learning.
