3 am let the q view begin

  1. Well it's 3 am time to begin the Memorial Day celebration let me start by thanking all of our troops past present and future! Especially those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice!

    Now I am starting today's smoke with a 9 pound pork butt and a very nice brew from Southern Tier brewing company. Using Jeff's rub for the butt... Later on I will be adding 2 racks of spares and 2 reverse seared London broils! Stick with me guys this is the biggest and longest smoke I've done yet!!!

    I thought I was the only one up! Good luck! I just put mine on at 6:00 am. Mines the same size so I will be following you since you are 3hr ahead to see when yours gets done.

    Wow, lots of people up smoking last night. How is everything looking this morning. Everything here is looking a little blurry. Lol
     
  7. Added the ribs about an hour ago. I'm fighting with these temps once the sun came up the wind picked up like crazy I'm almost back to210 but I would really like it around 260 or so we will see what happens! In the mean time enjoy!

    Sun is gonna hit mine in about 45 minutes then the temp dance begins again. I haven't touched it since about 8 last night.

  12. Holy cow! I never updated the rest of the post!!! I guess I had a little too much "Daddy juice". Well everything went well and tasted great! I didn't sauce anything I served the sauce on the side this time.
