I'm trying the 3-2-1 method today, and was wondering if there was a specific amount of apple juice i should add. Couple capfulls? 1/4 cup? I'm doing two racks cut in half, so four foil pouches total. Any help would be great, and I have about an hour before the "3" is up

I don't think you can really go wrong here, I don't have a spray bottle but I do have a brush that I use to keep them moist. Just splash on a little before you close up the foil, I might use 1/4 cup in each foil when I am wrapping a whole rack.

Sounds good. Should have some pictures in a couple hours then

Thanks for the help.

Holy Crap! Just finished them, and wow. Unbe-frekin'-lievable! I'm going to have to try again next weekend, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Here are the results:

The upper right and lower left got sauced and an extra 20 minutes to caramelize, so we'll have to wait and see what they taste like. 3-2-1 FTW!

I've got some on right now. Hope they come out looking as good as yours!

Well Well WEll,sounds like Damean tis hooked line & sinkered.(hehe I bet all loved it)glad for the great results .Happy smokin.

Nice job... I use a natural fiber small paint brush to "mop". Have several around... cheapos. They last about 10 smokes before they get nasty and bristles start breaking off...but they are cheap.

I typically fill my smoker whether I feed me or a party. Seeing your ribs, I'm going to feed my office the remaining ribs and pulled pork from 2 weeks ago just so I can run out of meat in the freezer, just to give me a reason to smoke this coming weekend!
