Hello Lino,

Since the FB door is already made, a lip added to the inside of the firebox would provide a surface to add a gasket to.

Keep an eye on those Gnomes, they like Q.

This is a good looking build. Looking to be a great portable outdoor kitchen you'll have with that trailer. Have you done any food yet???

Thx Tykenn

no food done yet :(  (at least not on this smoker)

there still is a lot of work to do  a lot of welding in on the smoker itself, need to order my racks, and grind end paint it all

Oke so the welding is coming to An end so i can start to paint should i paint the inside to?

No, do not paint the inside.

You should season the inside similar to the way you would season a cast iron skillet.

Spray all surfaces inside the cook chamber with cooking oil, then fire it up and get it really hot. As hot as you can get it, but keep it below 500°F (260°C).

If you have a spray bottle, fill it with cooking oil and spray away,    What I always do, is mix bacon grease with cooking oil and spray the inside, smells wonderful. even after you get it hot spray some more , grates everything inside the CC.
