1st spatchcock chicken

  1. Just put 2 spatchcock'd chickens in my master forge vertical smoker. Smoker temp was 235 when they went on.
    Here they are with the spice on them. No brine kinda a spur of the moment.
    On the smoker

    Can't wait.
  2. IT already at 136. It's barely been an hour. Dam these cook fast. Smoker temp at 257.
  3. Finished finally. No matter how long it takes, it's to long. 😜

    Good looking Birds. How were they? Shoulda done more,Huh?

    I like them Chicken F-l-atties , easy and ya don't have to prop them-up with cans.....
  6. Really good. I think better than normally smoking them. Got to brine next time.
