1st smoke pork loin

    just finished 1st smoke had a 5# pork loin . I used some of Jeff's rub with mustard. let it sit for 24 hrs. then into a 250 smoker with mesquite. after 3 1/2 hrs pulled it at 145. i think it turned out good for 1st time. look forward to doing a lot more soon.

    PORK LOIN is one of my favorites on the smoker.. good taste and leftovers for sandwiches...
    however with the cold temp. not much chance to use the smoker much either..

    Ok tis is your first and only warning. No pictures it didn't happen. We will let you off with a warning this time next time I'm not sure but I know something bad will happen. Cause after all you know:

    i know if i can figure out how to shrink the pictures i will get them up. just had some of the loin and it a little mushy in the middle only took it to 145

    Well don't take it much more than 150º. Did you wrap it and let it rest for 30 to 45 minutes?

    i only went to 145 and foiled for a hour
