I have never done a brisket and wanted to give it a try and wow was I impressed.

Here it is naked

Rubbed, I used my normal pork rub on it, I did get rub on the side there after I took pic

Sliced, I ate a piece of the end when I was slicing and omg it was good.  The bark was excellent too IMHO

Plated, was going to have sandwiches, but it was so good ate as is

Again I have never had this before, but will again.

It took 9 hours had a 2 hour stall, I sprayed each hour with apple juice and cooked at 225 to it of 200

that is one great looking slab o beef.
 
Very nice if I may say so. There is many times I use the same rub just on different meat and it still blows my mind how it will taste totally different.
 
That's one great looking brisket!  It's one of my favorites.
