Cold, snowy, and windy here in Iowa, got bored decided to try smoking some BB's with apple chips on the Old Smokey. Prep included rubbing with EVOO, and seasoning with Cookies and Italian Seasoning. Hope to have Qview of the finished product.

Trying the 2-2-1 method at 225 degrees, but might have a hard time keeping temp due to 50 mph wind gust. I am shielded in the garage, so I hope that does the trick.

Finished smoke with Qview

Flavor is good smoke, was a little over powering, wish I would have foiled sooner. Meat was good and moist. Finished with adding some Sweet Baby Rays. The main deciding point was my wife and son both like it. For an electric I did have a little bit of a smoke ring. Overall I was pleased, apple chips were much better, than the hickory I used on my first smoke.

Man cheers to you for doing that today.. It's straight nasty outside right now but those ribs look darn good. I didn't even want to go to work in that stuff
