Hello!

I'm new into smoking and builds, but have been checking out this forum and appreciate all the help and input from so many!

So, when I moved into my house a couple years back there was this International Harvester Fridge 1950 Model H-92, I had tossed the idea around to sell it, but everywhere I looked it seemed to be more of a hassle to sell it then just to toss it.

I have always been a fan of BBQ and fell in love with Brisket when I visited family in Texas right after high school, but it wasn't until recently that a good friend of mine had started a BBQ food truck business that it seemed so close in my grasp.

Next thing you know everything I looked at had potential to become a smoker. Hot water heater, I could make a smoker out of that. Clay flower pots, I could make a smoker out of that too!

Then I saw it, the old fridge in the basement, and immediately I thought to myself, I could make a smoker out of THAT!

So here we are, this is the beginning of an amazing adventure, and I am so glad to start here!

Thank you to everyone who will help to influence this build! I am open to suggestions to make this a great smoker!

Did you say international harvester? Now your talking! That's cool! I'm always checking Craigslist for an IH fridge, but turning it into a smoker that's awesome! Good luck with the build and can't want to see some pics!

and one fridge and one freezer of GE (GM).
