Pros - Simplicity of use, efficient usage of charcoal(be it lump or biquet)
    Cons - None to date
I made a couple of mods before I initially seasoned my WSM. Namely, a gasket kit, a second charcoal grate, mounted together with a pair of 8" eye bolts, to make removal/cleanup easier and a smaller drip pan.

The WSM has made everything I've smoked in it taste sensational. It is easy to maintain even temperatures and burns charcoal efficiently Very happy to have joined the ranks of WSM owners. [IMG]

I'm very happy with mine. It makes great ribs, butt and chickens. Very consistent and easy to control.

How many ribs/chicken/brisket/boston butts can you fit in the 18?

PRyan1877 & sfprankster, would you all happen to have pictures of how many ribs/chicken, briskets, etc, the 18.5 WSM & 22.5 can hold? I am very interested in the WSM so if possible, some pictures would be great. Thanks in advance fellow bbqers.

Welcome to the WSM family!!  I bought mine about two months ago and it has been producing delicious, succulent, moist, flavorful smoked meat ever since!! For the price, you will not find a better, easier to use smoker than The WSM. I love mine.

I love the charcoal but isn't the temp kinda hard to control guys?

Good for you. I have the 22.5" and share your enthusiasm, they are GREAT smokers.

Could be that I'm in Alaska.  HD wants around $340 if I recall??  Bass Pro wants $299, as does Amazon.  I figured it was to cover their cost to Alaska.

The Home Depot price is not higher.  Currently they show free 'to home' or 'to store' shipping on the 18.5 (although that may be a special since they are showing added shipping on the 22.5)..  AFAIK the 'to store' shipping is always free.
