I purchased this propane cooker not for using to fry fish but for being the primary heat source for my Brinkmann smoker that I was modifying from electric to propane. It took me about 15 minutes to put together and fire it up, it puts a really good flame and puts off a ton of heat, I was able to heat up my smoker to 250 degrees within a couple of minutes and then was able to control the heat very easily. If you are looking for a nice fish fryer this will do just fine and if you would like to know how to convert your Brinkmann electric smoker into a propane using this cooker send me a message and I will fill you in.
