    New Green Mountain Daniel Boone

Hi all, I stopped by the local Green Mountain dealer when they had their black friday sale on. Couldn't resist the chance to get into pellet smoking. Have been smoking using various smokers before, but not pellets before. They were sold out, but ordered some more, & picked up mine on 12/6/17...

    Brisket on the SRG

Am thinking of purchasing a packer, seperating point from flat, then cutting flat in 2. Should I then lay the 1/2 flat or hang it? Am wondering if hanging would allow infared to penetrate better. Thanks A G K

    Storm Damaged Wood

With a number of storms around the country, some wood becomes available. However if you get some remember that wood with a lot of moisture takes much longer  to season than wood that is cut with no leaves on the tree A G K

    Smoking with high fire danger

Just curious what others do during high or extreme fire danger. I live in Wisconsin where we had very little snow last winter & little rain this spring. All the state is in very high or extreme fire danger with very low humidity. We are not the only states with these conditions. I really don't...

Hi All, My name is Alan from Green Bay, Wi.  Am new to this forum, but not to smoking. Have used a gas grill, charcoal grill, an offset smoker, & a Bradley 4 rack digital. The Bradley has been modified with a 900 watt element & a Auber PID.  Have enjoyed tinkering with various projects...
