    ECB and AMS

    Does anyone know of a mod to use an AMS in an ECB electric?  I was thinking of putting a grate above the heating element right under the water pan but I figure it will be to close to the element and just burn up all of the dust. Thoughts?

    Thanks for all of the comments everyone. The food was amazing. The next day I did Ribs for my second smoke and they came out amazing too. My next smoke will be a brisket... I can't wait.

    My First Ribs Q-View

    So on the second day with the smoker I decided to do some ribs for football. Forgot to take a pic before I put them on. Used dry rub on both of them and them added some sauce to one for the last 20 minutes.

    So I have went through the eCourse and just got home this evening with my new electric ECB. I am excited for this weekend to break it in. Any thoughts on first smoke? I am looking for a short smoke, I was thinking some chicken breasts or italian sausage.
