    First Fattie Attempt....

    Sorry!   The post did some strange things when I started it - said a moderator had to approve it - then I watched and never saw it go up!  Then today - I see it!    Here is the end results..... Learned that I need to make the outside much thinner - more stuffing! No - I didn't use thick bacon.

    First Fattie Attempt....

    I had never even heard of fatties until I got a smoker and found these forums..... Here is my first attempt - - 2 fillings:  2 with Ham, Cheese, Potatoes.  2 with Hamburger, Greenbeans and Rice mixed with Cream of Mushroom soup.

    Smoking 2 kinds of meat at a time.....

    Is this recommended?  Not recommended?  Crazy? I want to smoke a pork butt and a beef brisket.   Can I put them in the smoker together?     I have a MES - so one will have to be on top, with the other underneath.   I am thinking Brisket on top, with Pork Butt under? Toughts? This is my 2nd...

    Am I missing something?    I see a link to buy Jeff's rub recepie, but not a link to buy the rub itself....... Maybe I mis-understood - can you get the rub itself?
