smoking wood in Montana?
We just moved from Phoenix, AZ to Billings, MT, and I'm wanting to find a good source for smoking woods. Back in AZ, I could get mesquite and oak pretty easy, either with my wallet or my chainsaw. Bitter flavors
The last two times I've smoked in my pit, I have noticed a bitter flavor in the skin and membranes (last two meats were a whole turkey flattened, and a rack of ribs).
