    I just spoke to Rick at Container Distributors in Venice IL 800-366-5098  http://www.containerdistributors.com/   He said that if I want a used, unlined opentop 55 gallon drum, their item number is 17H55R, $30 ea and if I only want 1, I'll have to pick it up Because of my schedule, I doubt that...

    Thinking of building a UDS but have questions

    I have seen a bunch of UDS builds but most of them aren't UDSs but Pd's - DARN pretty.  After use does the hi-temp paint hold up?  Wifey would NOT be pleased if I put an UGLY smoker where it could be seen from our gazebo.  But a nice black barrel with orange flames would probably be acceptable...
