    Smoked up some quarters on Sunday and did not have the usual apple juice sprtiz, So I used a few tablespoons of pancake syrup diluted in water and man oh man did it come out good!!!  Will only use pancake syrup from now on.

    Does smoking past 3 hours really make a difference?

    I can't see the smoke penatrating any deeper after a 3 hour smoke and me instruction manual says that the most flavor is achieved in the first hour.  So my question is why can't I just smoke whatever for the first three hours and then finish in the oven?

    Yea, thats what ACE chrges to fill a 20lb tank with 20 lb, for the same price that I paid at Home Depot.

    I went to exchange my 20lb tank today and noticed that Home Depot only fills their tanks up 15lbs!  That is 25% less than I thought I was paying for, so on my way home I stopped for gas and saw the gas station only fills their tanks to 17lbs.  I am going to start filling my tanks a full 20lbs...

    What Happened? Creosote mess during seasoning!!

    thanks for all the help fellas, I cleaned what I could and burned on high for a good 20 minutes and let it cool and burned high again.  It smelles much better now.
