    Grill/Smoker Weber S-670

My buddy is looking to buy a Weber Grill.  He is thinking of the Weber S-670.  It is a grill with a built in smoker.  Have any of you used this model or have any thoughts on it?

    Fried Turkey w Q

Happy Thanksgiving guys, I fried a turkey for the first time today.  I brined it overnight with water, salt, and brown sugar.  It weighed 12 pounds and I fried it for 44 minutes.  Came out great.  Best turkey I ever had.

    Thermometer Placement

I am having problems with Butts and Brisket.  I think the problem might be the placement of the thermometer.  I usually stick it in the center of the cut of meat and have the whole thermometer inside the meat.  When i look at the pictures on the forum i notice that some people have theirs...

I smoked a fattie stuffed with ground chuck, montery jack cheese, small hot dogs, onions and potatoes. The ABT was stuffed with cheddar, cream cheese, garlic...

    WSM Modification

Thanks for all the responses. I have a good amount of tools including drill bits but I'm not sure of what type of screws/bolts to use that are safe with high heat and cooking. When it comes to stuff like that I'm clueless.
