    Traeger BBQ 075

I just bought this grill.  Does anyone have grease leaking from the bottom barrel seam of the grill next to the pellet hooper?  I called Traeger and they said just use high temperature silicone?  I thought their grills were welded, so there are no grease leaks?

    Brinkmann Smoke 'N Pit Firebox

I am new to smoking and recently purchased one of these at my local Home Depot. When you want to smoke something, do you only use the firebox with charcoal and wood chunks, then put the meat on the grill in the big chamber or do you need add charcoal on that side too.
