I have the Stumps Baby and the Prince both superior smokers. They hold the temps very well.
I use a digi q. to control, i'm lazy
I have not done anything at that temp. you could call the office and talk to Stump himself for more info.

Get a good pit thermometer and practice your pit temps with it. Cook to when the meat is done not to time. Use time as a reference. I cook hot and fast which works good for me but I watch my for when it is ready to pull.

What meatmopper said. I have a stumps it is very well insulated and uses very little fuel. It works great on colorado on cold weekend days.
Stumps is pricey and has a long lead time after you order,each one is built to order.

Don't use match lite or kingford,except in the weber, use lump in the smoker. Kingsford produces to much ash for the smoker due to the Digiq fan. No lighter fluid in the smoker.
