you have think that a lot of those negative comments could be operator error I've talked to people that have had trouble with weber kettles and remember you can get all the help you need right here on this forum.
I started out on a horizontal brinkman off set they do get hot fast I had to control the air intake and use small chunks of wood to control heat i don't know if you can put tuning plates in those or not I would check into that to control flow. good luck there great little smokers.
its been awhile since I've been on the forum but is good to read some of your post always learn a lot here from a good bunch of people I cook on a Lang 108 deluxe and a weber kettle. I don't do competition BBQ but i do judge for kcbs and sca .
this guy pulled it all over like that i know in califorina you have to have a 5th wheel hitch to pull doubles. i was thinking about a port-a-pottie on a trailer so i could offer all the modern amenities !!!
yea the guy i got it from had lang build it with a 1/2" fire box and that receiver hitch so he could pull his 24' boat to misouri from las vegas. thank's for your coment's hope to have alot fun with it.
