    Finally a pic of my UDS

    Sorry i only have 1 pic....my laptop is shot so im using my moms. I'm still waiting on my UK magnet to go in the white sections and still have to paint my lid. The lid is going to be gloss black with a white stack.

    Talk about a good boss....

    Well I went to work yesterday and my boss set a box on my toolbox and walked away. I figured it was a part we ordered but to my surprise it wasn't. It was a BBQ rib kit... It had a basting brush, mesquite chips, some smoky beer BBQ sauce and some spicy tequila BBQ sauce!!!!! I love my job. Sorry...

    Fired up my new Uds today!!!

    Well I have a 9lb butt and a nice LiL chuckie on my new uds. Both rubbed with magic dust and injected with creole butter, smoking with cherry and hickory.....will post pics when I get the laptop from my wife.....

    Why i love my wife....

    I work 3rd shift, so i sleep during the day....i'm awaken by my wife yesterday(VDAY) and she tells me that my gift is in the kitchen....i walk in to see a new dress shirt......under it is a 15lb brisket and a 10lb butt.....whoooo hoooo God i love her..

    Green Wood?

    My Dad and i were watching a show on the tube the other day and one team of smokers said they were using green peach and pear wood......i always thought green wood was a no no.....one of the old timers i work with says he always uses green hickory.....whats your thoughts on this? Thanks Slim

    My first big Butt

    First attempt at Ribs...with a side of venison
