    Apple wood drying

    I just cut some cherry a couple weeks ago. I cut it like hockey pucks and put it in a plastic mesh bag that those frozen fun pops come in. I then put it over one of the heating vents in my house. Living in Wisconsin and since its been colder than a well digger's ass it gets warm air blown on it...

    UDS ash pan help needed

    We use the bottom of the barrel (make our UDS by turning the barrel over and cutting bottom out)that we cut out. Cut it an inch or so bigger than our charcoal basket. Then roll a inch or so metal ring and weld it on the piece we cut out. Pretty simple.

    Pizza Stone

    I saw a website with a stone that was the size of a Weber kettle grate. About 22 inches. It was squared off on one side so you could open your grate up and put more fuel underneath. It even came with a chunk of would for smoke flavor. Can't seem to find it now. Any other ideas for a GOOD pizza...

    Reuben Fattie

    Going to do a Reuben fattie this Saturday. I'm going to use brats as the sausage. Should I put some kind of rub on the sausage.......if so what. Not sure if I'll wrap in bacon. I'm going to do a couple other kinds plus a few ABT's.

    grass fed beef?

    There is no comparison between store bought and farm raised. Neighbor had Blues.......lots of calving problems. Had to have the vet for many births. They are quite the animal just not sure if their meat is any better than some of the others.

    Any thoughts on a Reuben fattie. What type of sausage would be good? Maybe leave the rye bread out.
