    There was no sauce on it. That was just smoke and Jeffs rub with a mustard slather to hold it. I usually grill a ton a of tri tips since it is the predominant meat in Southern California.

    Decided to run through a couple of 2+ lb Tri-tips and a batch of NoExcusesBBQ Smoked Beans through my WSM. The Tips were done with a batch of Jeffs Rub and backed by a bowl of home made sauce. As for fuel I used Pecan wood and Kingsford Blue. Cook time was approx 3 hours for the tips and 3 1/2...
