    New 3895GWLA Magnetic door latch

I applied it to the door in four pieces. I started by applying tape at top of door, going horizontal, cut off tape at end of the door panel. Then I just did the same for the bottom. For the two sides I measured from the top horizontal  piece of tape to the bottom piece on both sides and placed...

    New 3895GWLA Magnetic door latch

Hey guys just picked up a new landman. I guess its a replacement for the old "Big Block". Only problem so far is the magnetic door latches.. Has anyone modified or added new hardware to secure the door better? I have added 1/8" inch nomex tape and the door will not stay shut.

A good brine mixture and mop for chicken?

I spatchcock my chickens when smoking them. I set the smoker at about 275' they usually take around three hrs or so. I spritz them about every half hr or so.I have always gotten crispy skin. I have never brined them, so can't help you there, but mine come out juicy and have people begging for...

    Great Outdoors Smoky Moutain Smoker

I would have to agree. I started out with the 16" narrow body, good for beginners' or small smokes. That lasted me about 2 months. I was tired of having to cut racks of ribs in half to fit. The 24" wide body is awesome. I also got mine at Bass Pro shops. It is worth the $$ to upgrade.. Just my .02.

    question about propane smokers

I would have to second this. I had the smaller GOSM, it was a pain, always having to cut ribs in half to get them to fit. Now I have the Big Block, got it at Bass Pro Shops. With the use of a rib rack, I can smoke at least 12 racks at a time, depending on if i am making Dutch's beans or Japs with...
