I am going to smoke turkeys tomorrow and planning on finishing them in the oven turkey day, is there any certain temp I should plan on reaching to do this? I plan on slow cooking them about 8 to 10 hours with smoker temp around 180. any suggestions would really be appreciated...
smoked my first wabbit, stuffed with pinapple and wrapped with bacon.
smoked with apple wood to 160 deg. Really tender and moist. Tried to add pictures but when I hit the manage attachments nothing happens. Not sure what I'm doing wrong
I smoked a chicken today that I brined in hawaiian punch and some kosher salt. I also stuffed it with a half of a pinapple. Pretty tasty indeed. Really moist. I didn't get a chance to get pics, the wife got a hold of the bird and you know the rest of the story.
