I was smoking a 9 lb butt Saturday and my thermometer said the temp on the meat was 148, when I checked it again about a half hour later the temp dropped to 142. i looked at the control panel and it said the temp was 82. I shut it off waited about 2-3 minutes and reset temp(240) and time. When I...
