    I also did a 4 bone prime rib(8lbs) for Xmas,. Yours looks better then mine and mine was the best one I have cooked yet!!! Enjoy. Left overs don't last long at my house.

    Need Brisket Help ASAP

    Take it low and slow. There are many ways to do a brisket. Read read read. If you don't succeed first try again. No one on here had a perfect brisket there first time. Were here to help if you need it. Pics are always appreciated.

    I hate brisket

    Make sure your temp probe(s)and smoker temps are calibrated correctly. You may be overcooking it thinking it's not done yet. Ask me how I know.LOL I have smoked several since and not a bad one yet. Let us know how you make out. Ktotheb

    And it was a pain in the ass to set the alarm. I had a hhh come up on the meat side of the receiver and i unplugged the cord from the transmitter and plugged it back in and it worked. It seem very accurate out of the box????

    Thanks Fellas,It is nice. I used it today on a prime rib(no qview) and it seems dead on. I thought they were already calibrated from the factory? The thermo said 240 for bbq temp and my MES was st to 240 coincidence???

    Best slicer for under $100

    I have a nice one from Lowes made by Waring pro. It was under a 100 and does a good job for what I need. It's no globe or berkel but it does good.

    Salt Potatoes~

    I grew up in CNY and my parents brought us 3 bags of these when  they came down for turkey day. My wife just made salt tater homefries this morning!!!! There is NOTHING like them.
