    New build with flow plate.

Looks good. I would recommend you change that handle to some wood. It will remain cooler to the touch when cooking.

for the guys who weld themselves

I have both a Mig and Stick. I have a Miller 210 and love it. I have a Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC as well but I use the 210 a lot more then the stick. Speed and easier all the way around. I started off with a cheap Century 110 unit and I enjoyed it but wasn't anything compared to Miller. You get...

In this picture is the cooker I am using but still need to put a axle under it. I am actually going to use the 22"pipe for a firebox on the black one. The other I dug up .......it is a butane tank and is still doing a soak. They both belonged to my grandfather who owned a Butane/Propane Business...

250 gal propane tank for smoker questions

Bigsal51 looks good but I would have done one thing different. Welded the hinges on the doors before cutting the doors all the way out. I did the same thing on mine but on the next one I am going to start I won't. I will agree they can be deadly ......but like anything else use caution.

I am getting a 500 gal Propane tank for free - What can I do with it?

I filled mine with water several times and let it sit in water for about a year. That was because it took me that long to get around to starting it. It was open to the air through the fill and vent holes the whole time. I did let a little water out just before I cut it and yeah I was a little...

    Wood Smoker Build

That looks good. I wish I could find some donations like that. I want some tanks like yours also... I know where another buried one is and I plan to dig it up this fall. I think I'll build a double trailer smoker if it looks good.

how to build a smoker from scratch?

I say just use your imagination. You could look at some pictures to help with your decision but when your doing it for yourself the fun is doing it your way!!
