    Venison Meatloaf

Tried a Venison meatloaf today on the Holland...along with a couple of Beef loaves. Used a combination of Alderwood Flav-o-buds and Hickory. I figured it would be impossible to make the venison hold together on the Holland. It was tough but the foil was a huge help. Mixed in some green bells...

    Two Small Butts

Coworker and I decided to smoke a couple of butts. We went to the local Piggly Wiggly and picked up a couple of small ones. $1.59/lb with some pre applied rub ....but they were $2.09 without the rub. Threw a little mystery rub on 'em, warmed up the Holland and we were ready to GO! Left...

    Beer Butt Chicken

Tried a couple over the weekend on the Holland grill. Had never used this method on the Holland before. Was absolutely the most moist/juicy chicken I've ever done and it was TOO easy. Just put the bird on the can check back in 50-60 mins and it's done! I will never cook chicken halves again...

    "Smoked" Chicken on the Holland

Ok, I know it ain't smoking if you are using a gas grill......but seems like a slow day on the forum and I just felt like posting some pics. Caught leg quarters on special and also picked up a split yardbird to cook for the family. Threw the halves on first and the leg quarters a few mins later...

    "Smoked" butt on a Holland

First off, if this post is in the wrong place please let me know and I'll be glad to correct any mistake. Having said that, I decided to experiment with my Holland Grill this weekend and attempt to smoke a 5-6lb butt. Admittedly, my expectations were very low. I used their hickory flav-o-buds...

    Ribeye Loin on the 4th

Well, it wasn't exactly smoked but it was done on the smoker and had a nice smokey flavor so maybe it will qualify. Started with a 14lb slab and ended up with several nice steaks. Soaked/cooked in a homemade concoction of so many ingredients I can't remember them all....some Worst. Sauce, Rum...

    Royal Oak Smoker

Anyone know who actually manufactured this rig. It's an offset type smoker with the external box. Available at Wally World for a while. Much larger and heavier than the Home Depot CharBroils and such...but not necessarily a better unit. Somehow I doubt Royal Oak actually produced this rig...
